I want it all

My last day at my old job was on Friday! Yay, I am so excited to start a new chapter, and continue to move on up :D . I know that a lot of people do not like change, but I am actually looking forward to doing something new. Having to argue with people all day gets old.

These last 3 weeks I worked my butt off to make sure everything at work was in its place, that way people don’t talk shit, lol.

School is going ok, I guess. I am almost done with my thesis. I am  currently working on finishing the end of it, I then have materials for a presentation. The last class that I need to complete is my JavaScript class, I am kind of excited about it. I just wish I would have started sooner. Ugh, I just needed to make sure I actually did my homework for the boring classes, lol.

We had a wonderful weekend. We spent Easter with the grandparents, all of the kids had a blast.

I better go, I can barely keep my eyes open.

I’m still alive. I have not blogged in a while, but I have been super busy. I updated my layout with more revisions to come.  I also updated codechicdesigns.com. I am still cleaning some stuff up.

Bits of paper

I have been trying to make an effort and do more scrapbooking. Everytime I try to sit down and do a page, I am stumped. I can never get any layout ideas. I recently came across Pink Paislee, it is the cutest scrapbooking site I have every seen. She posts the cutest layouts and I got so inspired. I would love to do something similar to this layout:

Not that I am boring…

I have so much that goes on in my life it surprises me. I was wondering why I don’t blog about all of my crazy experiences. Daily I see things that are insane and people say and do things that are utterly ridiculous. The reason why I do not blog about these things is that I think no one will believe me. Like for example, someone at work has a family member who married a “black” girl. They give her names like Khadijah!! Ok, I gave that one a major side eye because really…

Then she got pregnant, and oh gawd forbid you have a mixed person in your family. To me the worst of it all is that true feelings show when its about “family”. Black babies are cute, my “light skinned” babies are cute but you freak out because the new baby has “black people hair”. Ugh, that made me sick. WTF is wrong with people! Then I found out they are not showing immediate families pictures of the baby because it is “too black”. People like this make me really sick.

I am so worked up right now!! LOL This is why I don’t like to post about the crazy things I hear, cause it pisses me off. I can only hope to be done with all of this foolishness in 2 weeks. :)
