Christmas is Coming
I am sitting her at work wondering what the heck I am doing here. It took everything in me to get out of bed this morning. I have gotten mostly all of the gifts I needed to get. I just have to work on the Christmas dinner. I am thinking something very simple, that way I actually can enjoy the time with my family.
This will be the first year that I will be doing Christmas at my house. We have always gone to the in laws place, but since we have two kids now, I decided it would be less hassle and fuss if we just stayed home. I am actually super excited this year. Last year I was about 2 weeks PP after a c-section. We did not have any decorations up, ugh I felt so bad. We also did not get gifts for anyone other than the kids. It is the same this year but it seems like I was actually able to choose the gift and wrap it and all that good stuff. I do not recommend getting a c-section during the Christmas holidays, you cannot drive or laugh, lol.

I know I promised to show pictures of my precious quiche. All I can say is OMG. I got so sick after I ate it. I dont know what ingrediant was bad, but I am so sad. I ended up making two, one for work and one for home. I am so disaapointed. I will try again during my vacation time. Needless to say I am headed to bed.

I am sorry for the lack of words. I have been so busy. I have some what finished shopping. I need to shop for a gift for Eric and Chris, other then that I am all set to go. I hate wrapping; I cannot get my technique right. Oh well, maybe I will do better with the grown up’s gifts.
I got my coach purse and wallet in the mail yesterday. I am so excited. It looks so cute!!!! I have been slowly updating my boutique (birdiechic.com). I have taken some pictures and have the shop configured. I am super excited to get a new purchase with the new design.
I finally fulfilled some orders from the craft fair that I had. I just received some supplies in the mail that I needed to fulfill the last of them.
I FINALLY saw baby Tyler after like a month. I was sick, the kids were sick so I did not want to get him sick. I am working on two blankets for him. I want to try and make him a taggie blanket, I hope that I have some left over material to make it. I know I have a ton of ribbon to choose from.
We had some much needed fun together. We went to a boutique cupcake shop, it was sooo cute. Everything was pink and brown. I got a pink receipt!! A PINK receipt, lol . The boxes they put the cupcakes in were also brown and had a big sticker with the shop name on them. They had cheesecake and the little liner they had it on looked like a LV pattern. I had some snicker doodle and red velvet minis. Yum, Yum.
I am at work, so I better get to it. Later on tonight I will be making a quiche. I will post pics later.

I like to cook, but sometimes when I have a recipe that I am going to cook, something goes wrong. I am often missing a spice or seasoning. That is the main flavor of a recipe. I hate when that happens. For example on Thanksgiving I was going to make pumpkin pie, and I did not have all spice!!! How can I make a pie with out all spice. I was so upset, but all the stores that would have all spice were closed…
