Shabby Chic
I have not been up to much. It is always busy at my house. We never get anything done, lol. We are so busy with tons of other things. I guess the most I have done is buy a laptop for each of us. I ended up getting this one. It is my new baby. Picture me clutching and caressing it, lol. I guess I really am a geek. I have been a busy bee endlessly researching Windows 7. Looking for everything that it is compatible with. Eric got his laptop last week, I had to wait until today to get mine. I had the urge to drive around to look for the UPS guy. The box was at the UPS warehouse which is within 10 minutes of my house, all weekend. I called to see if I can go and pick it up and they said that they close on the weekend!! What the heck even the post office opens on Saturday, who do they think they are?? After all the anxiety I got my laptop and it is beautiful. I am so excited. *Squeal*
Ok, that is enough about that. I rediscovered shopstyle. I am having so much fun. Here is a budget friendly outfit that I put together. Its so fun. I have tons of ideas. I might actually go and buy this one.
I am having the hardest time trying to pick a theme for the blog. Its becoming annoying. I cannot make up my mind. Its unusually hard. I found a few that I narrowed down, but I need to make sure that I can add to it if I need it. I am currently edited pictures for my Oreo pop tutorial. They were so yummy. I made them for my coworkers as a Valentine’s Day. They loved them. 
I have tons to do before work tomorrow so off I go.

I have been in such a mood lately. I have had some bad headaches this past week. I am also feeling crafty. Eric does not like it when I feel crafty because I need supplies, I need ribbon, rhinestones, tulle and lots of pretty things. I recently went on a supply run for ribbon for my x-mas headbands that I posted yesterday. I also picked up some crochet headbands. I love all of the colors except for the salmon one, ew. I have several projects that I will be working on this week.
I am going to be preparing for a craft show that I have coming up. I also have to take pictures of my products for the shop and for a craft fair that I want to get into. I am glad that the screen the entries because a lot of times at a craft fair, people just buy stuff from overseas and claim that they made it. That is my biggest pet peeve. They could at the very least is attempt to change it or make it look better! Rant over, lol.
I guess the longest task is to take pictures, I like to take nice pictures for my shop (in the past they have been kind of tacky). I found the perfect spot to get great lighting without the flash in the corner of my living room. I am so happy that I have finally found the “secret” to great pictures. I think that is what makes people “click” and decide if they will browse the shop or not.
We spent Saturday shopping for supplies, I was supposed to work on the headbands and bows on Sunday but I did not get a chance to. My mom and brother came over and we cooked fish and shrimp. Yummy. We got so full, after dinner we had Coldstone ice cream. Eric and I shared an Oreo overload, man it was so chocolaty. Later on in the day we just lounged around. I waited for the new family guy to come on, but it didn’t because of the game bleh! After a while I got bored and went to the room to lay down. I was so tired I started getting a really bad headache. I took some Tylenol and fell asleep.

That’s what I need to do. I need to rest until I am tired of resting. Anemia sucks, it drags my energy so down. I lag pretty much all day. I only feel tired after 10 am. Ironically I am full of energy at around 5 am. The baby usually is up at that time for a feeding but she goes right back to sleep. It takes her about 20 minutes to eat, be burped and be changed. After that she sleeps like a baby should. Quietly.
So we went to go see my brother sky dive on Saturday. We we so late leaving, I thought we were not going to make it. Amazingly we made it within 15 minutes before finally jumped. I was disappointed because I forgot the memory card for may camera. I thought it would be absolutely awesome to have pictures of that. He said he had fun, now Eric wants to do it, lol. I would never in my life time do it. I am afraid of heights. He also bought a video of it, it looks really cool. You have to be strapped to someone the first time, that’s a little relief because ok you jumped, how do you land, lol.
After that since we were already in perris, we decided to drive 15 minutes to the lake Elsinore outlets. I love that place, especially the bath and body works outlet. With the recession hitting folks bad out here there was no one there. You usually have to stab folks for a parking space. We just drove right in. The stores were empty too. Bath and body works had some good sales, I stocked up on lip gloss. The had some victoria secret gloss there too for 1.99. I spent 28, but I got a ton of stuff. I got 5 full size body sprays, 2 lotions, 4 lipglosses. I was happy. Then we headed to old-navy and got the kids stuff, they did not have a great selection. We walked around for a while, then I saw that they had the pottery barn outlet. OMG#@#!!@!#@ Pottery Barn outlet, that store I never buy anything from cause I am a cheapo ass. They had an outlet, I was happy to buy, but sadly nothing on sale was my style.
We got home and headed to sister in laws house. We always have fun hanging out. We watched the sky dive video, the ask random questions, lol. This is when I get my mother of the year award. I forgot the formula, luckily we live close by, so we come home feed the baby and head to walmart for diapers. I was exhausted after all the excitement.
That picture took like 10 minutes to take, I was trying to get detail of the headband for my shop, lol she wanted to look at the camera. LOL so difficult.
New Phones
After the longest time with the lamest cell phones we are getting some new blackberries . We both had lame phones. Good thing they had a promotion or we would have spent 400 bucks on them.
I bought a sewing machine today. I bought some zebra fabric too and I made the baby a dress. I am going to try and make her a onesie applique but we will see. I really need an area for all of my crafts. I think our closet will be the best place. That way when I am done I can just close the door. I need to look for a desk and storage that will fit though.
In the mean time I am just going to have to deal with what I have. Once I get the dress making down I will begin to have them in the shop.
