I miss you

I feel some weird connection with San Francisco. I knew the second we arrived, it was where I wanted to be. It was such a beautiful city, swoon. Can I just pack all my crap and move there?

It was filled with pretty little houses, every turn we made was amazing. I am hoping that we can go back this summer and stay longer.

Giveaway: Shutterfly Holiday Cards

When it comes to holiday cards I am the queen! Everyone looks forward to see which card our family chooses to give during Christmas. The down side is that I procrastinate 98% of the time and when I finally get my stuff together it is too late to order from a printer. For example, about 2 years ago I got the wonderful Idea to make my own holiday cards, and my oh my, I was so overwhelmed. I wasted time and sanity trying to get my formatting right. I will never do that again, Shutterfly has wonderful and high quality cards at affordable prices. Best of all you don’t have to do anything but order your cards and they even come with envelopes. Have you ever rushed to a 24 hour Walmart to get envelopes? This girl has, and let me tell you it’s no fun. I plan on using the Joy Ornament Christmas Card this year. It is perfect I can have a picture of the whole family and one of just the kids. I am sure that my family will love it. Best of all I don’t have to fight with Photoshop this year J. Shutterfly will be my go to place for calendars and photo gifts from now on.

Shutterfly has offered 3 readers the chance to receive 25 free 5×7 cards.

Vacation Revisited

Here are a couple of pictures of San Francisco and Redding/Burney Falls. I know I have been slacking big time on blogging, but I have been busy with homework and with work. Everything at home is the same, except that it is super hot. I am extremely uncomfortable on the weekends because I am so used to being in an ultra cold hospital during the day. I literally have to wear a sweater at work and I look crazy when I leave since it is like 102 outside.

Being on vacation and visiting different cities has us thinking about taking the chance of moving. Looking at our city and state, I find myself disliking it more and more. It is so expensive, but I am sure that its this way everywhere else. I would not mind starting fresh some where else, but the question is where.

I guess only time will tell if we are brave enough to move :p.

I want it all

My last day at my old job was on Friday! Yay, I am so excited to start a new chapter, and continue to move on up :D . I know that a lot of people do not like change, but I am actually looking forward to doing something new. Having to argue with people all day gets old.

These last 3 weeks I worked my butt off to make sure everything at work was in its place, that way people don’t talk shit, lol.

School is going ok, I guess. I am almost done with my thesis. I am  currently working on finishing the end of it, I then have materials for a presentation. The last class that I need to complete is my JavaScript class, I am kind of excited about it. I just wish I would have started sooner. Ugh, I just needed to make sure I actually did my homework for the boring classes, lol.

We had a wonderful weekend. We spent Easter with the grandparents, all of the kids had a blast.

I better go, I can barely keep my eyes open.
