Brazilian Blowout Follow Up

I know I promised a follow up on my Brazilian Blowout a while back but I have been busy these last couple of weeks. The drama at work to school and sick kids wears me down. It seems that I am always freaking busy, I would prefer to be busy but dannnng. I need that happy medium.

I put pictures up of my hair before and after the Brazilian Blowout. It seems as if the straightest part is the top. I have no product in the after pictures, my hair air dried for about an hour. It looks a bit messier than usual because I was watching TV in bed, J

The treatment seems to be holding up really good. The picture where I am wearing it straight took me 20 minutes with a round brush and blow dryer and I just ran my chi over it quickly to get the shine.

Once I notice that I need a touch up I am going to go ahead and get it done again. It has saved me so much time with my hair. I love it.

Family Secrets

I don’t have a lot of secrets but the ones I do keep are personal and painful. Secrets are not necessarily hurtful to others and its not like you want to keep them a secret its just better for me. Recently I got the chance to relive my Hyperemesis nightmare. It was gone as quickly as it came. I lived every single moment in pain and agony. I kept thinking of how much worse it all could be. The images and thoughts that entered into my mind were horrible.

To say the least I wish to never go through that again.

The reason why I chose to keep it all a secret was that I thought it would be painful for me to talk about. Even now I am kind of choked up. I do feel that it will be a while until I am able to go back to normal.

Hopefully Valentines at Vegas will help me feel better.

Brazilian Blowout

I went and had a Brazilian Blowout after a ton of research. My hair is so damaged despite not using chemicals in my hair, it gets damaged from constantly using a flat iron and when I detangle my hair. I had a TON of frizz, it would take a whole tube of gel to combat the frizz even then my hair had the choice to act a fool.

My hair it is very hard to manage in the morning. I  recently saw some really good results by not using shampoo everyday and detangling in the shower with a wide tooth comb. But that would take me forever and I have been running late because of my hair every morning for the last three weeks. OK maybe my hair is not entirely to blame, but slapping on the gel does take time.

I read all sorts of rave reviews about Brazilian Blowout, but I noticed that a lot of people call ALL treatments like this a Brazilian Blowout even though it is not, so the reviews were not helpful at all. Some reviews complained about the treatment fading, but those that fading were not done with Brazilian Blowout or done by a professional.

http://www.brazilianblowout.com/home <— this link explains the process and helps you find a hair stylist that is trained to use the product.

I had my appointment today at 2pm. We walked in and the salon was so pretty and clean. The stylist explained the process to me. She told me what she thought my curls might look like afterward and how long the process was going to take.

She first washed my hair 5 times with the Brazilian Blowout Shampoo. She then towel dried until almost dry and then applied the Brazilian Blowout solution. She was very generous when applying the product to my hair. She took her time and made sure my hair had enough product and then she began to blow dry the solution into my hair. After my hair dried she started to flat iron it. I could tell almost immediately the difference in texture as the keratin was sealed into my hair.  I was a little bit sad when she reminded me that she was going to wash my hair!! I was like what about all of your work to straighten it, she said to trust her, lol.

After my hair was all washed, she started to blow dry it and she put a tiny bit of serum in it and it was getting so straight just by using her fingers!! Then she ran the flat iron once on the ends and it looked awesome! I freaking love it. This only took about 10 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!

I am pleased with my experience and will for sure be getting it done again.

Here are some pictures for reference.
