We have not done too much these past couple of days. On Friday, I finally saw my best friend. We went out to dinner to On The Border. The food was great, we all had such a good time. I had the appetizer plate and a Caesar salad. They drank and let me suffer because I wanted a margarita so bad. The on Saturday we helped my friend move into her apartment. Well not WE, but he helped lug all her stuff into her new place. I spent the night on Saturday and we spent the majority of time giggling. We looked over some of her stuff she got from being overseas and watched the boondocks until we feel asleep.
On Sunday we headed on over to Ikea, Linens and Things and Walmart. I found a couple of things at Ikea, although we did spend half the time cracking up at some of the oddballs we saw there. I went there looking for a couple lamps and a side table. I found the table but no lamps. After Ikea, we went to linens and things they are having a huge going out of business sale. I bought myself a very nice comforter set. It includes everything that I need to decorate my bed. I cannot believe it comes with 2 sets of satin sheets and decorative pillows and about 8 pillow cases, in addition to the sheet set. Best of all I only paid $50.00 it was marked 80% off. They really did not have to much else that I needed, they had very nice bathroom curtains that I wanted to get but they were “half” curtains, what in the world do you do with those.

After she dropped my off at home, we started to finally put the dang living room in order, it was such a mess in there. I took down the really old crusty blinds and let some light in, it looks 300 times better now. We rearranged the couches and made our fireplace a focal point, some day I want to add a mantle to it. I still don’t have too much on the walls, I am looking to buy about 3 mirrors to hang the up in the living room and one in the hallway and one in our room.

Last night after work we all ventured out to find a new king bed frame, ours is too low and its killing my back to get in and out of bed. I had looked online to see if we can find a decent price and it was a no go, so finally we decided on going to JCpenny outlet. They had alot of good stuff, the had armoirs for about 90 dollars, they did have a few scratches here and there but original price 1500 dollars. We found this really cute head board, its a nice natural wood color, it has a oak like stain to it. Its very nice and sturdy, the only thing wrong with it is it had two long post type things coming out of the sides. I think it looks better with out them anyways. The headboard original price was 1039 and it was marked down to 59. Tell me I did’nt get a good deal so I can smack you, lol. It will be delivered sometime today and I will be sure to take a picture so you can see it with it new bedding.

**edit** They left the bed in the back yard, all I have to do know is wait for the hubby to get home to assemble it, yay I am so excited.

So as I am sitting here trying to think of something to blog about, then I realized that I actually have not posted anything about my pregnancy in quite a while.  I will be 16 weeks this coming Wednesday. I updated the Baby Status page, I had not done it since week 12. I added a widget to show what the fetus looks like, and for it to show how many weeks I am. At this point I have not really decided on a baby theme, I think if it is a boy I want to do a cutesy bug theme and for a girl, I want a pink and brown theme. I am really liking the mod floral prints in the pink in brown, and I have been seeing really nice ones over at target. Anyways, my next appointment if July 8th, I am not too sure if I will find out the sex then, if I do I will blog about it right afterwards. I am too excited. The whole family says its a girl, so I don’t know.

Today, we went out and ran some errands. We finally bought some tape for the boxes. We are going to be needing some extra ones, so hopefully we can find them tomorrow. I am going to clean out my closet and get rid of the stuff that I will never wear or fit into. I have a nice pile that was accumulating on the floor of the walk in closet that will be going to a yard sale. There is a bunch of clothes hanging that need to be sold as well. We are thinking of having a yard sale about the end of July. I don’t want to wait to long otherwise the clothes will just sit in the garage collecting dust or still sit in my closet forever.

As far as the packing goes, we are going to start right now. I want to get all the frames and decorative stuff all out of the way before anything else. Then we will move on into our room, cleaning out the drawers and selecting the clothes we are keeping. OMG, I never realized how many clothes I have. Then after our room, I want to head on into the bathrooms. Most of the stuff is organized under the sink, still in the moving boxes we brought them in, so that should not be too big of a deal. I just think the hardest thing will be transporting clothes, and the shoes. My plan is to leave them hanging until we leave them pack them on into a car and then hang them up right away. It would just seem like a waste to put them in a box for them to get wrinkled then hang them back up. Not too mention the boxes would probably weigh a ton.

It is about 2 am right now, so I better go and start to put some stuff away and then get some sleep. Goodnight
