Bite Me

We went to Borders last night and they were having a going out of business sale. Most of the books were 60% off. I was a little shocked to see that there were more people at the 10% off sale at the Wetseal next door, sigh. Now days looking cute is better than being smart…

We found Bite Me the wonderful cookbook by Julie Albert and Lisa Gnat. I was looking through it on the way home it it looks pretty good. I already have bookmarked some of the receipes that I want to try. I also bought Head First Rails by O’Reily. I have been dying to learn some rails, lol

I made some delicious Cilantro lime rice that I spotted over on Our Best Bites. I did not add pineapple, but I wish I had. It was so delicious. I took this pick while it was cooking, that’s why the rice looks raw, lol. I forgot to take a picture of it once it was done.

I have been trying to spice up my house with holiday decor, and I have been seeing alot of the cheap & cute crafts everyone was making out of glass vases so I gave it a whirl. I made this vase.. and I think it looks so cute. I made 5 more, I have no clue where I am going to put them. :)

I have been finding all sorts of excuses not to study ;) , I even cleaned out the cabinet!!! I am embarrased to say that I have not done that in a while… I found a prize though, I found an eyeshadow case with tons of colors. I was amazed and found an excuse to do my makeup.

I have been a busy bee these past couple of weeks. My enrollment to get my BSIT is finally official. I start July 1st. W00t. By the time I am done I will have the following certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) Security Certification
  • CIW Professional
  • CIW Associates
  • CIW Database Design Specialist
  • CompTIA A+ (2009 Objectives)
  • CompTIA Project+ (2009 Objectives)
  • CompTIA Security+ (2008 Objectives), Configuration 70-680

Can you tell that I am super excited?, I already started to read books from my courses :D .

Aside from that I am launching a new project. It’s a secret right now. I am still working on the concept. I need to do some revisions to the name. I am open to suggestions. It’s a fashion type shop. I should be done in about 2 weeks. I will need promotion help so I might some sort of contest.

I am making some enchiladas as I type. I am boiling the chicken and realized that I have no cheese, ahh. I am sending the guy to the store to pick some up for me. I am going to go look for a yummy dinner recipe for tomorrow.
