Wow, I had an OK day. BUT it all changed because when I checked the mail, I got a letter from HR stating that they are denying my disability request. It said something about me turning in the paperwork in 15 days late, which makes no sense because I was asked to turn it in after the 7th day of being at home. It also said I am ineligible for payment for the next 31 days. It makes me livid. The thought of this kind of mess this early in my pregnancy just makes me stress out. I was already stressing on the fact of how we would survive after I had the baby, you know day care vs stay at home mom. I am going to be sure to call on Monday to clarify that this letter applies to me. It just bothers me so much because I have seen people at my job fracture their wrist on a medical record and they were off for about a year, and of course it was paid leave. But little old me that thinks its stealing tax payers money to go into work and not be productive doesn’t get any pay.

I was thinking about this all night last night, just thinking how it was all ponies and rainbows for a while just knowing that I would at least get 55% of my salary, but now its all rotten dead ponies and tornadoes. OK I am pretty sure i am done with my rant.

We don’t have much planned for today, but I have to sit down and think about how we are going to come up with the rent. Ugh and I still have to go buy groceries. I will probably look around for some coupons. I used to go to this really cool site that would list local sales, I just can’t remember what the URL was. Anyways, I just found out we will be going out later on so I better start getting ready.

 Well, these past few days have been really busy. I am starting to feel like a Zofran Addict because I NEED it to survive. I would be in terrible, terrible shape with out it lol. So of course I forget it at home when I need it the most. The hubby will be bringing it by before he goes to work. What a lifesaver. I would be doomed for sure. Well to summarize the last few days. Couch + Sleep + Hot House + Nausea = Messed Up Days. I am just glad to actually be up and walking around. Friday was so bad, I ended up calling off it was so bad. I slept out on the couch pretty much all day and my son was super good. He took sympathy in me being sick and actually tried to take care of me. He did not even complain when I plopped a microwaved frozen kids meal in front of him for lunch. To my surprise he is a lot more independent then I thought. He was able to bring both of us water bottles from the pantry as well as snacks for himself. I felt so bad not being able to do the mom things for him.
Saturday was a disaster, I was worse off then Friday, but the only difference is that I did not feel like actually throwing up. I was just unable to eat or drink anything. SO I was pretty much all day without anything to eat or drink. Saturday night I asked hubby to buy me some lemons so I can sniff and eat. LOL they worked though and thats the important thing. I was actually able to eat half a bagel with peanut butter. I slept some what ok though. Sunday I was feeling much better. I actually got up from that couch/bed and moved around with out feeling too bad. I had my moments. Later that evening I was able to eat a cupcake and a burrito so it was all good. I am so much happier that I actually started taking Zofran because there would be no way that I can function here at work. I mean seriously who want s to puke in a public bathroom. I don’t even want to puke in my own bathroom. !!! No that it is dirty, its: I don’t like to puke period!!
Today has gone by super, super slow. I day dream and come up with ways to make money at work, LOL I know. I have a business idea. I want to keep a tight lip about it though. I would need to look at what my start up costs would be as well as what my target audience would be like. As far as I am concerned I think that market is way over saturated with stuff like this, but I am sure I am a great designer and I can make good decisions as far as cosmetic look is involved. I have some ideas as to what would be included in the shop and other thinks I know would not do so great. I am in to make money but not rip people off. I have seen that people charging waaaaaaay too much for an item. For example 38 bucks for something that cost about 4 bucks to make. That’s not cool at all. I will start to set up shop soon and actually get a business plan done. I hope to see how many other people will be doing what I do. I have the ability to get “wholesale” items so we will see what I can pull off. I am excited. I won’t get my hopes up too much since this is about the third business venture I have had in the last few months. I honestly think the second one would have worked; especially now in this terrible economy, but it would be WAY too much liability. I might offer the services to family and friends though. The service I am speaking of is credit repair services. It’s actually very point blank. The laws are clearly written and easy to understand and execute. If you know all of the proper steps to take it works wonders. No illegal stuff either. That’s what made the plan so great, but it involved a lot of start up and covering my/my staff’s butt. Not something I want to be responsible for at the moment.
Well speaking of money I just read my benefits book for my insurance and it covers everything I only pay 1 office co pay throughout the pregnancy. Yay, a repeat c-section is covered as well. I am so glad. I know I was worried about the costs of having private insurance vs. state Medi-cal, you know because they get everything free. It ticks me off sometimes to think even prenatal vitamins are free. I had to pay 35 dollars lol ok END RANT. It really bugs me because my sister in law had trouble with her military benefits covering certain things and her husband (my brother) was in iraq. So not cool.
Lunch time is around the corner so I’d better get to working or I am going to be swamped later this afternoon.

Edit: We bought the Wii Yay! and BOO Zofran actually makes me feel worse, I have constant stomach pain, and here I am thinking it makes me feel better. Boo!

So it has been one hell of a week. I have managed to complete a variety of unrelated tasks. We threw a wonderful baby shower. I finished a bunch of policies for our department. I went to that interview on wednesday and I think I did very well. Hopefully I get a call back on it. I would be making more then I do now. They said they would be calling in about 10 days to let me know, that includes running the backround check which leads me to belive they do not run personnel file checks, which is YAY. because they check attendance, including tardiness. My weak point, I am not late by more then a minute or two, but it still counts. Our time clock system sucks in that respect.

continued on 3/30. So I have done absoulutley nothing this weekend. I always manage to overwhelm my self with then things that I need to do here and there and nver get rested for work, not this weekend. I spent most of it in front of the boob tube and watched episodes of Flavor of Love. OMG yes, that show is very sick in so many was, but cannot find the strength within me to look away. Where do they find these ghetto girls? Speaking of ghetto… I got my nails done at our “upperclass” mall and I got glitter tips, everyone is like wow where did you get those? (or more like your a ghetto bitch, what ghetto did you go to ,to get those?? ) lol

Anyways, I have upgraded Wordoress with the new version and I think the design in the admin area will take some getting used to. I know they simplified it to make it easier, but it took me so long to get used to now I have to start over. I am also planning to go ahead and edit the hell out of the oh so very theme, i love it because its so easy to edit. I am thinking of doing very springy like colors, I love spring because summer follows. I love hot days by the pool, under the shade of course. Night swimming is the best ,it feels good in the hot breeze.

I want to put my flickr stream into my header image, hw shall I do this? I also want to add my twitter back, I have used it in like forever. lol I liked using it when I was bored so I could look like I was actually doing something. lame yes. I would be way more productive if I can post by e-mail, but our IT deparment reads our e-mail that do not go to .gov e-mails. They seriously get paid to sit around and read our e-mails.

I am going to get a move on in getting this new layout up. Good night.

So today was SUPER eventful, I got written up for always being tardy lol my boss is a total load. Ugh I have been applying to tons of jobs outside of my current company. I have seen lots of joba outside my area though. I have a game plan why not quit my job and get on welfare, get food stamps and section 8 and get myself a house, instead of my urban apt. lol I am sure that will work out perfect. lol on a serious note though the housing market is really bad in my area. i cant believe its gone this low. I mean I was never old enough to notice/or care , but now that it does matter its odd to see how other things fall apart.

Ok ok I am trying to concentrate but keep tabbing to cuteoverload.com lol I love animals. I have vowed to go to bed BEFORE 12 am so I can wake up and be on damn time to work lol I have set 3 different alarms for my self. sad I know.
