Unknown_2011-10-09_224513.pngI have fallen in love. Like I may have mentioned before, I bought the TouchPad with hopes of porting Android. However, after having sometime to get familiar WebOS, I am in love. The UI is so clean and smooth. It is very fast and provides things that I have not seen in Android. My favorite apps that came with the Touchpad are the Kindle and Facebook app. Although as you can see below it has other apps already provided.

I have downloaded a bunch of other apps. I also installed Preware that allows me to modify some stuff, like removing unnecessary logging that slows the system. I also got free 50GB storage from the Box app. I have been uploading all of my e-magazines and books there, instead of storing them on the touchpad. A camera app did not come included with the touchpad, so I had to wait about 2 weeks for a free one to be added to the App Catalog. I found two of them: FreeCam for TouchPad and DigiCamera Lite. They are both good and take good pictures. There are no special filters but DigiCamera Lite offers resizing in a paid version of the App. I also added Spaz HD for twitter, since a Twitter app is not available. My favorite app is Red It, for browsing Reddit. As you can tell I fell in LOVE with Everlands, the lite one is the demo and the HD version is the one that looks awesome on the TouchPad.

Another thing that I love is the fact that you have access to edit Google docs. The TouchPad initially did not come with this feature, it was later added via a system update. You can check the keyboard out below.

Another thing that I hate with Android is not knowing what windows I have open. I am not sure if this is a feature that is offered on tablets with android, but I know my phone does not have that. WebOS has cards, you simply slide side to side to skip to the next card. You flip them upwards to close them. You can also group similar cards. You pretty much know at all times what apps are open.

Don’t you love my super girly wall paper. I don’t remember where I got it, I got it from here, but I do remember I was browsing for Ipad wallpapers since the TouchPad has the same dimensions.

I guess the most important question is: Where you able to score one?
