Childhood Fears

I was browsing a forum last night, and there was an interesting post about Childhood Fears. They has some really strange ones, like afraid of mirrors and the oddest afraid of gold colored metal. Some of the posters even said they still continued with the rituals to avoid the things they were afraid of well into theiradulthood. My childhood fears, I think are very justified. 1. Clowns, yes they are freaky. 2. Spiders, Yuck 3. Letting my feet or arms dangle off the bed while I slept. Something can grab them you know. I am still afraid of Clowns and spiders and last night I noticed I get a weird feeling when I let my feet dangle off the edge of the bed lol. I told my husband and he just thought I was retarded and laughed, lol.

I think its crazy how something in your life shapes what you are afraid of. One of the posters said she hated going down the stairs because she was afraid someone would grab her feet. When she was younger her father had grabbed her feet going down the stairs as a joke. I know that sibling (brothers) shape your childhood fears. My brothers used to throw rubber spiders at me all the time, or show me pictures of clowns. I remember once they tried to pull that bloody mary crap on me, and luckily my mom walked in just in time to tell me they were just being jerks. Its so sad, I hope my son does not do that to the baby. Kids can be so cruel.

Did you have any childhood fears? If so, do you still have them? LOL it will be fun to find out.

i am so excited right now, I bought a copy of dreamweaver in the hopes that I can get better at web design. Well I just installed it, so I am off to play and create a layout.

1. Inspector Gadget, the tv show.
2. People looking in my bedroom window when I slept (Logical until you find out that my bedroom was on the second story)
3. My mother finding out I that I drank chocolate milk at lunch when she specifically told me that I could only have white.

Needless to say, I was a very neurotic kid!

Amy’s last blog post..I’m still not so rich, biiiiatch!

My childhood/adulthood fear is clowns. Not very realistic as they are mostly harmless, but something about them is shady!

Jessica’s last blog post..Big Announcement!

i am terrified of heights, but only when there is a chance of falling! like, if i’m in a tall building, i can look out the window just fine, but standing on a roof, NO WAY. :) strange, but i think it’s legit!
