So it has been one hell of a week. I have managed to complete a variety of unrelated tasks. We threw a wonderful baby shower. I finished a bunch of policies for our department. I went to that interview on wednesday and I think I did very well. Hopefully I get a call back on it. I would be making more then I do now. They said they would be calling in about 10 days to let me know, that includes running the backround check which leads me to belive they do not run personnel file checks, which is YAY. because they check attendance, including tardiness. My weak point, I am not late by more then a minute or two, but it still counts. Our time clock system sucks in that respect.

continued on 3/30. So I have done absoulutley nothing this weekend. I always manage to overwhelm my self with then things that I need to do here and there and nver get rested for work, not this weekend. I spent most of it in front of the boob tube and watched episodes of Flavor of Love. OMG yes, that show is very sick in so many was, but cannot find the strength within me to look away. Where do they find these ghetto girls? Speaking of ghetto… I got my nails done at our “upperclass” mall and I got glitter tips, everyone is like wow where did you get those? (or more like your a ghetto bitch, what ghetto did you go to ,to get those?? ) lol

Anyways, I have upgraded Wordoress with the new version and I think the design in the admin area will take some getting used to. I know they simplified it to make it easier, but it took me so long to get used to now I have to start over. I am also planning to go ahead and edit the hell out of the oh so very theme, i love it because its so easy to edit. I am thinking of doing very springy like colors, I love spring because summer follows. I love hot days by the pool, under the shade of course. Night swimming is the best ,it feels good in the hot breeze.

I want to put my flickr stream into my header image, hw shall I do this? I also want to add my twitter back, I have used it in like forever. lol I liked using it when I was bored so I could look like I was actually doing something. lame yes. I would be way more productive if I can post by e-mail, but our IT deparment reads our e-mail that do not go to .gov e-mails. They seriously get paid to sit around and read our e-mails.

I am going to get a move on in getting this new layout up. Good night.

As I opened and read through Yahoo’s home page, there it sat at the bottom of the “news” headlines. The US death toll in Iraq has reached 4000. All I can say is my prayers go out to the families and friends of the fallen soilders. I will always appreciate what our troops do for us.

 Wow. I had about 3 deadlines to meet all at the same time today. Whew and it only took me four servings of Starbucks. I got that Cup o’ Joe box of coffee. I had to work on some stuff for the national take your child to work day thing we are having at work. Then I had to finish a newsletter I did for National Social Work Month. It really turned out great. I have gotten so many compliments *blush*. Then, we are doing a surprise shower for one of our coworkers. I am having so much fun helping to plan this. We will only be playing about 3 games, because our time in the conference room is limited. I am thinking of playing the toilet paper one where you guess how many “squares” big she is…lol (kinda mean). Then there is the clothes pin one, where you clip a bunch of clothes pins to a hanger and the person tries to grab as many as she can with one hand. Then the last is matching celebrities babies with their names. LOL fun stuff, right?

I have just finished cleaning the disaster in the kitchen. It was pretty much a bunch of clutter. Everytime we clean up we put stuff on the bar, lol we need to just completely put crap away and this would not happen. I made dinner last night Shrimp Chow Mien with broccoli and snow peas. So yeah, I decided what I want to do. I want to get my Masters in Social Work. Woot woot. Then some more good news I got an interview for a Fiscal Assistant. With the county Yay!. I am so happy. They are scheduled for the 26th woot woot again. Well I need to get to bed.
